School For Social Entrepreneurs Graduation Video.

Bringing back memories

It seems like such a long time ago that i, Suzannah Jones, Graduated from the Lloyds Bank School For Social Entrepreneurs. However, i’ve recently received my Graduation video.

Watching it brings back so many lovely and inspirational memories. It was a time that i will definitely remember fondly.

That day was the first time i stood up in front of a room full of people and explained about Sense Abilities. A project i started back in 2017 that is now achieving what it set out to do and evolving. I was both nervous and excited to be able to tell my story. The support i had through the SSE was second to none and they helped build my confidence. If you had told me at the beginning of the course i would be speaking as i did, i think i would have dismissed it there and then.

Feeling Proud

I look back on this video and feel proud at how far I’ve come. I am also extremely proud of Sense Abilities and what it’s achieving. Every day teaches me something new and that benefits the project and the community that accesses it.

The end of one year and the start of another!

2019, what a year it was for Sense Abilities. It was full of highs and a couple of lows. Last year saw us receiving funding to put on free community sensory sessions which were a huge success.

Torquay Library Sensory Session

We have loved working with Torbay Libraries

Just under a year ago we had a meeting with Sam Grace from Torquay Library to discuss ‘popping-up’ with our equipment.
