Exciting News about our new Sensory Hub!!
We are so excited to announce we have found a property for our new Sensory Hub and it’s not far from where we are based presently.
Awarded BIG Lottery Funding!
We did it, we were awarded BIG Lottery Funding to be able to purchase the equipment needed for Sense Abilities!
It was a nail biting wait to see if the hard work in writing a bid, our first one we may add, paid off. We were so pleased, excited and relieved when that letter finally landed on our doorstep to say it had.
In total we were awarded an amazing £9818.33
This has gone towards:
- Sensory Equipment
- Gazebo
- Website
- Leaflets and banners
We have worked hard all year to get to this point and now just waiting on the last few bit’s to be delivered after a delay. Once here we are fully set up and ready for action, lots of wonderful sensory action that is!
We are very much looking forward to starting the new year with a full set up and breaking down those barriers to accessing good sensory environments in Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and surrounding areas..
We can’t wait to show you all.
